We are currently a three-doctor practice, and we are very excited to add a new veterinarian to our team. Our support staff is all cross-trained in all aspects of the business, as one of our main goals is to empower our employees to utilize their skill set and knowledge in its entirety. Our ideal veterinarian is someone who is professional, family-oriented and is a strong team player. Here at Animal Ark, we see dogs, cats, birds, and small exotic pets.

About the area: Our practice is the only practice in the state of North Carolina that has associated with it, a full service environmentally friendly pet funeral and cremation service. Elkin, North Carolina is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountain, and our practice is centrally located between Mount Airy, Charlotte, Boone, and Winston-Salem, along interstate 77. Our quaint downtown is situated along the Yadkin River, with shopping and restaurants. It is so great that it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Elkin is known for its numerous music, cultural festivals, and wine tastings. In addition to this, Elkin has nationally recognized medical facilities and one of the top-performing school systems in the state of North Carolina! Needless to say, Elkin is a wonderful place to live all around, and a great place to raise a family.
